muon : bloom

Details

Particles born in dying stars pass silently through your body.
This installation makes them tangible.
Three detectors catch cosmic-ray muons arriving in Cincinnati and convert each one into light and sound.
Part observatory, part sound poem, this euphoric voyage is coloured live by signals from deep space, inspiring awe at the unseen universe within.
