The Letter from Martha

Details

The Passenger Pigeon — once one of the most abundant species on Earth.
Their migrations stretched for hundreds of miles, darkening the skies,
their wings sounding like rolling thunder across the land.
And yet, humans brought them down from the heavens —
until silence replaced the storm.
We wish to pay tribute to John A. Ruthven, the artist who painted this mural,
whose message of extinction, loss, and the need for conservation still resonates deeply today.
And what if… Martha wanted to leave a message for all of us…
What do you think Martha would write to you?
