After working as a graphic designer for fifteen years, Louf decided that to be able to truly excel at his work, he needed to focus all his creative energy into one project. His sense of design, art, graffiti and muralism where all combined into a single artistic endeavor, hinging upon his canvases and murals working in tandem. It lead him on a quest for the perfect form, which he found in the hexagon. Employing perspective in a painting, this shape can also become the imagined outline of a cube tilted to the side. Since he formed this idea, Louf has made it the subject of every single one of the unbroken sequence of ‘cube’ canvases he has been painting ever since.
