Dutch artist Leon Keer has colored the world with his street art on walls and floors and has been working on a large scale of different works of art from his studios in The Netherlands and Italy for more than 25 years. The artist observes great impotence and with that a certain degree of indifference from the individual. Leon Keer is constantly aware of the playfulness and beauty versus the degradation around him, a contrast that he expresses and amplifies in his work and which he uses as a metaphor for life. His paintings reflect his thoughts, confronting the viewer with the diseased spirit of our times, visible decay counter-pointing a timeless longing for unspoiled beauty. Leon Keer works with a mixture of perspective techniques and new media like augmented reality and uses a rich variety of media. Leon Keer exhibited his art at various European, Asian and US Art shows and Galleries.
