Gee Horton is a self-taught Contemporary Artist based in Cincinnati, renowned for his photorealistic drawings that delve into the emotional, spiritual, and psychological layers of the human experience. Although this is his first appearance at Cincinnati’s Blink Light-Based Festival, Horton has already achieved national acclaim, contributing to high-profile projects like HBO's Insecure and Amazon Prime's Harlem. He received an Emmy for his work during an artist residency at The Mercantile Library of Cincinnati, where he created a six-foot portrait honoring Black abolitionist Peter H. Clark.

In 2023, Horton was recognized as a "40 Under 40" honoree by the Cincinnati Business Courier, further cementing his influence in the art community. His work has been showcased in galleries nationwide and is included in both private and public collections, such as The Mercantile Library and the Cincinnati Art Museum. Horton's art seamlessly bridges the personal and the historical, offering compelling reflections on identity and cultural heritage. He also holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Louisville’s Kent School of Social Work.
