Afrochine is Yemi Oyediran and JP Leong, whose decades-long friendship and collaboration reflect their shared experience as the children of immigrants. They are inherently storytellers whose work almost always involves music & food and has won them awards including an Emmy, a People's Liberty grant, and an Ohio Humanities grant.
