VAMOS Animation is a German animation studio founded in 2016, organised as a collective of filmmakers, illustrators, artists, and animators with a strong track record at international film festivals and exhibitions. Bringing together diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds, the collective approaches each project with a distinctly multicultural lens. The studio specialises in films and installations and, beyond classical animation, actively explores new formats and applications for animated sequences. In video mapping, the team has worked at events such as Berlin Festival of Lights (2023, 2024), the Video Mapping Festival in Amiens and Lille, and the mapping of the “Entrepôt des Sels” in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme (France), as well as projects in Cologne for theatre and other contexts. VAMOS stands out for integrating hand-drawn 2D animation with visual effects that serve the concept, prioritising narrative and social impact over mere spectacle.
