An inherent part of my process as an artist is to explore and investigate. In the research process for Blink, and also due to a great input from John Beam, i found out about Rookwood and their amazing history and story (and catalogue!).

‘LINEAGE’ re-imagines geometry and bass relief fauna and floral ceramic imagery into a colourful and dynamic space between pattern and figurative, where the deeply present ceramic history of Cincinnati in now expanded into a modern urban presence.
