After studying architecture, he specialized in lighting and digital manufacturing. His multidisciplinary training allows him to fully develop his designs. Juan Fuentes' artistic line is based on perception and geometry, evoking immersive sensations and experiences in the audience, blurring the line between the real and the virtual. He works on his projects within biomimicry, using nature as a source of inspiration. In recent years, he has exhibited in Light Art exhibitions around the world, including Madrid, Sydney, Singapore, Vancouver, Brussels, London, Stockholm. In 2021, he received the 40under40 award as one of the top 40 lighting designers in the world.
