About

Daniel Rossa is a German media artist whose practice operates at the intersection of digital and physical space, creating immersive audiovisual works that dissolve the boundaries between the two and invite new forms of environmental perception. Trained at Bauhaus University Weimar, Rossa draws on an interdisciplinary background in media art, technology, and science to transform architectural structures into dynamic canvases of light, motion, and narrative. His award-winning project, 555 Kubik, reimagined a museum façade as a living, dreamlike entity, using projection mapping and optical illusion to explore the idea of architecture reflecting on itself. By centering each work on the unique qualities of its site, Rossa uses light and imagery to engage buildings as active participants in storytelling, revealing the tension between physical structure and ephemeral intervention.
