About

Inspired by airships and the dream of flight, Jean-Pierre David creates immersive artworks that explore the possibilities of aerostatic forms, light, and movement. Since the mid-1990s, he has developed inflatable sculptures, aerial performances, and illuminated installations that combine suspended performers, giant puppets, music, and visual spectacle. As advances in LED technology enabled light to become an integral part of his work, he expanded into increasingly sophisticated creations that merge digital systems, electromechanics, transparency, and motion. His large-scale installations invite audiences into imaginative worlds where art, technology, and the wonder of floating converge.
