A Picture's Worth is a nonprofit that supports individuals and communities in sharing accurate, strengths based narratives, each sparked by an individual image.

A Picture's Worth of Light, an audio and visual projection and website, is led by non-profits A Picture's Worth, Community Matters and The Collective in Lower Price Hill, HER Cincinnati (Anna Louise In Off the Streets and Scholar House), Transform Cincy and the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

For our installation, neighbors offered photos and audios stories of the lights in their lives over the course of multiple community-hosted sessions. Their stories are gifts of truth and light. Our story gathering methodology is built upon years of researching and practicing restorative media and systems change. We believe that all narratives shift based upon who is placed in the center of them.
