The Confetti Room, a black-and-woman owned event space in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood will be transformed into Breonna’s Garden. After visiting the VR experience, visitors can take a pause in a meditative “heal house” activated by Erikka Gray, owner of local wellness store Pause Cincy.

The meditative room will have essential oils, daily soundbaths, and meditations.

Breonna’s Garden participation in BLINK has been facilitated by Cincy Nice. Cincy Nice is a cultural developmental firm with a mission to create more welcoming platforms and spaces for diverse artists.

Since launching in early 2020, the organization has led several community initiatives, including the “Our Tables” community art protest in the wake of unrest in 2020, Five Points Alley revitalization, and the Cincy Nice Social House pop-up cultural lounge. Cincy Nice is a producing partner of BLINK. Learn more at cincynice.com.

“Art has the power to heal. BLINK is not only a shining moment for the city but also for the community that it brings together,” says Destinee Thomas, Co-Founder of Cincy Nice. “After meeting Lady PheOnix and seeing the technology, we knew that the Breonna’s Garden immersive experience was right for this moment. We’re honored to help BLINK shine a light on Breonna Taylor’s life and invite others to do the same.”
