Mallory Feltz

About

Mallory Feltz, originally from Dayton, Ohio, is a visual artist interested in a wide variety of materials and who has always enjoyed building things. She earned her BFA in Sculpture from University of Cincinnati, DAAP (2006), and MFA in Sculpture at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA (2009). Intrigued by themes of domesticity, family dynamics, and childhood memories, Mallory mixes traditional sculptural and craft techniques with multiples-based sculptures, participatory artworks, and installations. Her work has been exhibited locally and nationally, and she has two permanent outdoor sculptures – in Hamilton, OH and Brookline, NH. Mallory was selected to create original artworks for BLINK Cincinnati in both 2017 and 2019, and she is excited to participate again this year. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, and is the Director of Exhibitions & Public Art at Kennedy Heights Arts Center.
