ST. LOUIS CHURCH
ARTIST: SEAN VAN PRAAG
LOCATION: ST. LOUIS CHURCH
29 E 8TH ST, 45202
St. Louis Church was designed in the Florentine style and is a five-story limestone building with two chapels. The current church was built in 1930 on the former site of St. Ludwig Kirche, a Roman Catholic church that was initially built in 1870 for a Christian sect known as the Campellites.
Van Praag's exact plans will remain under wraps until the event but will bring the building to life and trick you into believing what you’re seeing is real - and to do so in a fun and playful way.
ABOUT SEAN VAN PRAAG
Sean is a freelance motion designer, which means he creates animation, illustration and design content for all kinds of moving digital media. He grew up in Cincinnati and, shortly after graduating high school, moved to Florida. While there he got really into painting, and had several opportunities to design graphics for some local restaurants and shops, sparking his passion for design. One thing led to another, and several years later he had a degree in digital art and design, and was living in LA making animation and design for film titles, commercials, and music videos. After moving back to his hometown in 2010, he worked full time at Lightborne, a local Cincinnati animation company, before striking back out on his own. He's been working as a freelancer at his home studio in Loveland ever since.
