HueTube aims to translate sound into an exciting visual experience for people of all ages. By using a mallet or their hands, the user can generate amplified acoustic sounds and enjoy a spectacle of light covering the full spectrum of colors which also creates a subtle parallel between the sound waves and visual. It's a perfect marriage between the simplicity of a child's play and technological art.

ABOUT GENERIQUE DESIGN  & EN TEMPS ET LIEU

GENERIQUE DESIGN  is a product design studio specialized in the fields of digital art, interactive design and public installations. Founded in 2004, the team is composed of Sebastien Dallaire, owner and lead senior industrial designer, Jakob Lorenz, product and spatial designer, as well as Rebecca Murdock, junior product designer. Combining creativity and technical savoir-faire, Generique design accompanies their clients from the first conceptual drawings until the physical completion and installation of their cultural and/or artistic custom projects.

EN TEMPS ET LIEU is a multidisciplinary design workshop that brings together two entities, two distinct origins and a few disciplines that were initially unlikely to cross paths. From this unlikely encounter, an effective collaboration between Quebec and Germany was born. Exhibition design, event design, street furniture, installation and lighting, this workshop is interested in events that intertwine visual art, architecture, design and going beyond the traditional modes of representation.
